PROJECT PHILIP
What is Project Philip?
Project Philip is Bible League’s core evangelism and discipleship program. It connects people to God’s Word through small, relational Bible studies. These studies are designed for all kinds of settings—churches, homes, schools, workplaces, and even prisons.
The program is named after the story in Acts 8, where Philip helped an Ethiopian official understand Scripture and believe in Jesus. In the same way, today’s “Philips” are trained local believers who walk alongside others, helping them read the Bible and discover Christ for themselves.
How does Project Philip Work?
STEP 1.
Equip local believers
Bible League Training prepares Christians to become Philips.
STEP 2.
Invite and gather
Philips invite seekers and believers to read the Bible together.
STEP 3.
Discover Jesus
Participants explore God’s Word through evangelism and discipleship studies.
STEP 4.
Grow and multiply — Graduates are encouraged to join a local church, receive a Bible, and some go on to become Philips themselves.
What do people study?
Gospel of John — introduces who Jesus is and why we need Him (evangelism).
Reaching Toward the Goal — helps new believers grow in prayer, Bible reading, holy living, sharing faith, and joining a church (discipleship).
Discovery Series for children and youth — age-appropriate studies that help the next generation engage with God’s Word.
